“
flowers,
food, and celebrations are old companions”
At MOSS flower and home, we
appreciate that each wedding is unique. Taking the time to get to know you and
your personal style, to ensure everything is perfect on that special day. Your
bouquet is a stylish accessory and one of the most important visual elements
of your wedding day. Today’s bride can carry a bouquet she adores, although
she may need the guidance of a good floral designer to help her choose the perfect
blooms.
At MOSS flower and home we have an array of colours and styles. It’s important to identify which elements appeal to you. Imagine the grand picture you want to create.
Whether it’s simple and elegant or opulent and bold. From the bridal bouquet, groomsman’s
buttonholes and ladies corsages, flower girls, elegant bridal table garlands
or simple flowers for your cake. Flowers contribute to the overall appearance
of your wedding day and create a colourful, often fragrant impact.
We can design the perfect theme for your wedding day.
We invite you to arrange an appointment for a free personalised consultation.
Wedding bouquet options
Today’s bride can carry the bouquet she adores, although she made need the guidance of a good floral designer. With so many colours and styles to choose from, it’s
important to identify which elements appeal to you. Varying in price according
to the flowers you select and the labour involved in creating the bouquet. Together
we will explore which style of bouquet will best compliment your beautiful wedding
gown.
posy bouquet
A small bouquet
combining delicate, pretty flowers held tightly together by their natural stems
to create a ‘rounded’ bunch. You can opt for a collection of the
same blooms or select a variety of your favourite. Posies can be formal, semi-formal
or informal by design. Formal is very structured and usually features one or
two varieties of flowers.
arm spray
As the name suggests, this bouquet
is a sweeping collection of long-stemmed flowers and greenery a bride carries
cradled in her arm. An arm-spray is a chic, contemporary bouquet suited to modern
wedding themes. Stems are often secured with a gorgeous silk or organza ribbon.
If you love tulips, oriental- lilies or orchids, this bouquet is for you.
teardrop
Generally a very formal design,
a tightly structured bouquet where the top graduates into a wide trail. Which
maybe either long or short, depending on individual taste. The teardrop bouquet
gets its name from its shape, which is top heavy, graduating inwards as it falls
towards the ground.
trailing
The trailing
bouquet is like a semi-formal to formal design with a slim top flowing down.
Similar to a cascading bouquet, except it has only one ‘tail’ instead
of many and is usually evenly balanced. Trailing bouquets would particularly
suit informal, garden weddings where the bride is dressed in a simple cocktail
style gown. A chic, understated alternative, the trailing bouquet is also appropriate
for beach and other outdoor ceremonies.
cascading
A wild, free bouquet with multiple trails featuring stems of orchids, vine and trails of ivy, often intertwined with roses. This style is more elaborate than the trailing bouquet. Perfect for a romantic, tumbling look, and best suited to taller brides. The cascade bouquet can vary in length to match your taste.
designer
MOSS flower
and home can help you design a unique bouquet. Usually a dramatic look with a
few exotic blooms and spectacular foliage, often incorporating vines, berries,
seedpods and fruit-all of nature’s organic media.
modern European
Usually many of the elements of the designer look with other interesting features such as colourful and different foliage, nuts, ivy berry and tropical leaves.
